South African Petroleum and Energy Guild (SAPEG) is a section 21 company constituted to represent emerging companies in the energy sector. SAPEG’s mission is to facilitate integration of small and emerging companies into the energy sector in accordance with current relevant laws, policies and standards.

The aim of the organization is to create an environment conducive to fair and just competition by:

• Facilitating transformation within the Energy Sector, in line with the Constitution of South Africa by creating practical mechanisms.

• Promoting economic development for the benefit of all members and stakeholders and

• Creating social equity through extensive energy sector involvement.

SAPEG is governed by a Board of Governors made up of 6 members with varied experience in the Energy Sector, Finance, Law and Public Health.
